Visited SLC for the first time

6/10/18

I went to Salt Lake City, Utah for the first time in my life. I was given the opportunity to onboard around 75 IT folks to DXC environment. I was surprised how big Intermountain IT personnel were. What a beautiful city, but food to me wasn’t the best. Cali food is too good haha.

I learned a lot from this. I need to learn to present better. I can try to look at how to report better. I definitely have the personable attitude down. People can approach me easily and I can teach well if it something I know well.

I was approached by a DXC colleague for a job that sits in Utah. I don’t particularly believe that Utah is a place I would like to stay at. Even when I declined the option, I was provided some tips.

I should stop studying the Salesforce ADM 201 test and go for the ServiceNow Cert and ITIL V3. This is a good sign I believe. I should pursue these and see what I am capable of. I want to step to the next level. Maybe it is my chance to take myself somewhere that will help guide me to amazing opportunities.

I was initially studying the ADM201 cert because I have no direction in my IT career. I purchased 2 courses for ServiceNow and the ITIL cert. Lets DO THIS

Pursuing more knowledge

My Goal is to pursue more knowledge this year and transition from my IT support role. Currently I lead the operations of tech centers in Palo Alto for HPE and HPI offices through DXC technologies. I would like to become more valuable through being pursuing a ServiceNow Admin Certification and ITIL V3. IĀ  want to provideĀ  more Value than impact a single person like with my current job.

Maybe even try to learn Javascript for programming
